As a and being a sports fan I think it is only logical that I sell something related to my interest for my venture. Therefore I have chosen sports memorabilia to be my product of choice for my online home based business. I’ve done some research and there’s definitely a niche for it. It’s a pity I didn’t start earlier or I could have cashed in on the Beijing Olympics.

I bet people, well guys at least, would pay good money for items related to Paraguay’s javelin thrower Leryn Franco and everyone wants a piece of Jamaica’s Usain Bolt. Ms Franco’s autographed javelin, shoes and apparels would fetch quite a sum on the internet. The same could be said for Mr Bolt’s racing spikes. Just a bit of Beijing Olympic trivia - Apparently Mr Bolt won the 100m sprint and in the process, breaking the world record, with his left shoelace untied.

But these items could be regarded as fad products or so you have to sell it while its hot. If javelin throwing were as popular as tennis then her items would have longer term value - remember Anna Kournikova?

I’ve also decided that with my tight schedule and being a , it would make more sense to use the services of an e-commerce solutions provider. For this purpose I’ve chosen Instantestore. They’ve got everything I’m looking for and their charges are within my budget. They’re quite reliable and their customer service is top notch. (Note to the Instantestore people: Can I at least get a free t-shirt for promoting you guys? I’m a size M and it would be great if it’s in black).
